  • Sends out a monthly newsletter so you know what is going on at Town Hall: sign up here.

  • Hosts Connect with your Councilor events: collaborating with you and your neighbors to solve problems and improve neighborhoods.

  • Prioritizes transparency by publishing an explanation of all her votes and providing video recaps of all Council meetings.

  • Simplifies complex topics like the tax rate and the town budget so you know how your tax dollars are being used.

Thoughtful Growth and Economic Development

Thoughtful development and growth are essential for thriving communities. Meredith believes development works best when all the stakeholders are at the table.  As your Councilor, Meredith focuses on collaboration and consensus building, and making sure your voice is heard.

As your Town Councilor, Meredith:

  • Hosts neighborhood meetings so you can speak directly to developers before new projects break ground.

  • Supports Braintree’s split tax rate, which benefits residents and small businesses, and ensures big corporations and industries pay their fair share.

  • Fights blight and vacant properties by advocating for redevelopment along the Ivory Street Corridor and at the “Armstrong Cork” property.

  • Supports South Braintree Square’s small businesses by pushing for pedestrian-friendly intersections to improve walkability, increase foot traffic and reduce traffic congestion.

  • Advocates for new development that will increase housing options for Braintree residents, encourage small businesses and entrepreneurs to choose Braintree, and create lasting revenue streams for the Town

  • Supports fully funding Braintree’s fire and police departments.

  • Builds community by organizing park cleanups, local hikes, food drives, and meeting with residents on their blocks, in their homes, and at local events.
